Ok Aislinn (Ash) and Keenan came to an agreement that she would work with him as co-leader of the Summer Court but that she would continue to be with Seth. But that agreement does not stop Keenan from trying to win her over to be his true queen in every since of the word- not just partners but also lovers. Working together Ash & Keenan defeat the Winter Queen and try to restore some balance in their world. Now that Ash is the Summer Queen she has to have Faerie guards with her at all times, her friends also require guards to keep them safe. Leslie, Ash’s best friend, has had a hard home life so she spends most of her free time from school working at a local restaurant. Her main guard is Keenan’s right hand man, Niall. Most Fae can make themselves look human and Niall is one that can, while guarding Leslie he starts to fall in love with her but he can not be with her because one touch from him humans and faeries alike become addicted to him and his touch. Then there is Irial, who is the King of the Dark Court, he sets his sites on Leslie. Since he is the head of the Dark Court he needs dark emotions to keep him going but with the Summer Court and the new Winter Queen (who happens to be Keena's ex-girlfriend that he is still in love with and she is also still in love with him) working together for peace he is having a hard time finding the dark emotions he needs. He uses his blood and the tears of the Dark Faeries and mixes them together in tattoo ink so when Leslie goes to get a tattoo she uses that ink and he has control over her then. Niall falls even more in love with Leslie and wants to save her from Irial, so that puts her right in the middle of a fight between the Summer Court and the Dark Court. Leslie knows nothing about the Faeries because Ash would not tell her thinking it would keep her safe. Leslie falls in love with Niall also. Niall breaks all the rules to her get her back but is it too late and does he give up everything for nothing??
